Simple Things - Surfboard Fishing 030620

I went down to Torrey the other day on foot.  Some spectacular rips, and the bean clams were everywhere!  They crunched underneath my booties as I combed the inner shore-line, casting out to dreams of fish.  My pole was in hand, and I stripped off the upper layer of my wetsuit to get a tan, felt the sun on my chest.

She is intelligent and capable, if not, she would not have gotten through college, and got a job; but, she is inexperienced, young, and lacking wisdom.  Don't go chasing after meaningless things.  Don't be fooled by the simple things.  Life is complex.

I could not keep my eyes off her.  Her body, curves, and clothes that accentuated her entirety.

I threw my lure out to the waves, hoping to get a bite, but came back with only bits of seaweed.  I saw one round ray dart out in front as I made my way through some deep holes back to the beach.  This kept me going for a while, saw some life.  Nothing more is needed.
